This is exciting waterfront country, come on down! Charlotte County surrounds Charlotte Harbor, a 125 square mile body of water. The Harbor is predominately used for boating, sail boating and fishing. The Harbor leads to the Intercoastal and the Gulf of Mexico. The communities surrounding Charlotte Harbor and especially, Punta Gorda are determined to take full advantage of this natural treasure. You will see parks, marinas, restaurants and clubs all capitalizing on on our waterfront. Come on down and keep your boat outback!

Here is news: In Charlotte County, we now have over 2500 homes under $200,000. These homes come in all shapes and sizes, some brand new and some are a little older, some with 2 bedrooms and some with 4 bedrooms. You can pick and choose and probably find the home that has been in your dreams. Now you can find waterfront homes under $300,000 with 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, 2 car garage and a pool. Charlotte County is the most reasonable waterfront area in Southwest Florida. Charlotte County's new Event Center is finished, there are new hotels like the Wyvern Hotel and the new Sheraton, new restaurants, there is a new super Wal-mart. The largest shopping center in Southwest Florida, The Loop is coming to Punta Gorda. It is exciting. We are growing and offering more and more wonderful amenities to our residence and visitors. With all this growth Punta Gorda Isles remains quiet and lovely.
